    Seems pretty damn impressive.

Normally, I think Nürburgring lap times are silly and shouldn’t be taken seriously, but the time that the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE just set is so insane that I’m going to tell you about it anyway. It involves good, wholesome American manual gearboxes kicking the crap out of fancy soft European dual-clutch…

Once again, we're living in a golden age. Some day we'll be traveling in our electro-rocket pods driven by computers, telling our grand kids about when Mustang/Camaro/Challenger were at their best.

Of course, by that time the Ford electro-rocket pod will be the same as the Chrysler/Fiat/Xingyang electro-rocket pod, so the grandkids might not understand.

Bill Wise. He's a GM ride and handling engineer and he's a total badass behind the wheel.

I will let you guys in on a racing secret setting up a car to be fast is harder than driving it fast. That's from someone that both drove and was a crew chief at places like Daytona and lemans. One of his crew built a car and was looking for a driver in nascars southern region. Guy told him just drive it yourself. Guy and his son have both won their NASCAR region a few times a now. That's probably why bill wise is the perfect driver. He knows the car.
