  • Schitt$ Creek

Anyone watched Schitt$ creek? It is on Pop TV, but I watch it on Netflix. Kind of stupid/funny, but a good time killer for a good laugh.

The series stars Eugene Levy as Johnny Rose, a wealthy video store magnate, and Catherine O'Hara as his wife Moira, a formerly successful soap star. The family loses their fortune when their business manager fails to pay their taxes. They are forced to rebuild their lives with their sole remaining asset: a small town named Schitt's Creek which they had bought their son as a joke birthday gift years before.

The story revolves around the family's life living in two adjacent rooms of a rundown motel with their pampered twenty-something adult children, David and Alexis, played by Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy respectively.[6] Additional cast includes Chris Elliott,[6] Jennifer Robertson and Emily Hampshire.

The show is based on a series of situations contrasting the once-rich family and their worldly big-city attitudes with sudden small-town living, and their dealings with the stubbornly unsophisticated (but usually down-to-earth) residents of Schitt's Creek.

I have not watched the latest season yet but I love the show. If you like the daughter, Annie Murphy and want to see her whoring it up, watch the Cheerleader movie she did on Netflix, very corny but she is all whored up for it.

Also, the son in the show is Eugene Levy's actual son and the redhead that works in the diner is his daughter. I think he writes most of the show.
