That movie was crazy. Like, literally insane. So many bad ass things dropped like a glorious turd in a wacked-out toilet wonder land of trauma and hot chicks.

It could have been 4 or 5 of the best music videos that have ever been made, but stitched together into this "story"... it was like a hot chick with a skid mark on her white bikini. Sexyyyyyyohmygawd!

I've done a little perusing of the interweb opinion, and it runs the gamut from "artful dissertation on child abuse", to being likened to the fantasies of a "furiously masturbating 13 year old".

I can't totally rule either of those summations.

My best recommendation if you're just dying of curiosity, is to get wacked out of your mind on the substance of your choice and feel free to take a leak after each of the 4 dream battle things. That's the only way I can see this movie being a truly winnable proposition.

And I hate to say it, because 300 is awesome and Watchmen is in my top 10 favorite movies list.

Oh yeah, and I'd like to sop Emily Browning up with a biscuit. That girl is a size C set of boobies away from being perfect.

I can definitely see that in the dream battle things, but like I said, laid on top of the over all story... it just doesn't work.

I'm not really into drugs or anything, but I'll be sure to down a few beers before going to see it at the Alamo where the drinking will continue. Might go next weekend. Can't stand going to movies on opening weekend.

The plot is so-so, but for those of us that go to escape and just enjoy movie rather than nit-pick, I give a it a thumbs up. I probably won't see it again, but I enjoyed its over the top action sequences and how the "layers" all worked together.
