I have also only used the dry abrasive chop saws and always hated them.

Is there a reason you are not considering a band saw? What is blade life and cost like for the dry cold saws?

I was looking at the 2.3 ecoboost stuff yesterday. Pricing is just too high right now but if they come down would consider it. The car is likely going to be sitting for a couple years with Harrisons...

Thanks everyone for the additional info. The plan would be to keep the exterior as is. It has the 2.3 turbo motor right now and really not sure what we would end up putting in it.

That is the most impressive piece they have built so far. Probly going to steal the OEM expansion valve/firewall bulkhead idea. So much cleaner than those universal -AN things.

Likely not much you can do without restricting flow a good bit in the closed setting. If you dont care and the system design has enough space you could do a silencer/restrictor in the always open...
