You don't need a good reason to go with shiny pushrod Ford. Just have fun with it. Compression does seem awfully low for an NA build though.

Little Vortech 6 trim is what it is gonna want.

As it sits, I agree with the above. Should be right around 400
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Really not enough info in your post. Duration of the camshaft can change things a lot. In general, those heads are a little small and it is going to be sensitive to camshaft duration and exhaust. You should really have 1 3/4" headers and 3" all the way to the tail pipes if you want it to breathe. Throttle body size is very important as well.

If you are getting the air in and out of it like you are supposed to it will be very near your goal.

I'd say 380-390 hp about the same tq. If you had a bigger cam and 11:1 it would easily make 450

Custom cam from flow tech inductions. 232/240 112 lobe sep
90mm throttle body, sct big air 3000 maf, 4" Pipe for the intake

I bought Accufab mid length headers with 1-3/4" primaries and 3" collector but they didn't fit well. So for now I'm running bbk shorties with 2.5" exhaust.

I'm excited. Hopefully Noah does a good job with it.

That exhaust will choke you a little. But that cam is going to work well as long as you told Ed what heads you are running. That cam also needs to be degreed in to work properly. If you did all that you should there in my opinion. Once you replace that exhaust you will make a bit more.

I hear ya on the exhaust. I'll prolly swap it this winter.

It's all brand new. Cam spec'd for what I have and professionally installed per cam card. The only info I didn't give ed was the weight of the car.

                          I'm excited.
