  • WOW or Primera Airlines

Anyone have any personal experience flying with WOW or Primera airlines? Thinking of booking a trip to Paris for my wife's Christmas present. I have read really mixed reviews for both but they are the best price. I have no issues flying no-frills as long as the plane is not a piece of crap. Thanks for the help.

I don't have any experience with either, but with that long of a flight I'd spend a bit more to be more comfortable.

Delta/Air France. Good luck with a decent price right now though.

I fly through Paris (CDG) to get to Africa. My flight this time of the year was ridiculously expensive. Seems it was cheaper for me to go through Minneapolis vs Atlanta this time. To Paris it is a 9hr flight roughly from either MSP or ATL. Not that bad if you get a window in Economy Comfort.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Spoiler alert: The plane will be a piece of crap. It might even be a smelly piece of crap.

Don't wanna threadjack, this question may help the OP too.

Which airline is the best of the best? I've heard a few people say they will only fly southwest. Better planes, more luxury, better service. True?

Southwest is the best of the economy operators. Private jets are as good as it gets. The two are not synonymous. Also, I will pay for any flight you can book to Paris on Southwest.

Nope and the commercial airlines fly slower to save money so a private one will usually be going 50-100 mph faster.

A pity its $1200+ for a ride on the little jets.

Sounds like a good description for "Champion Air", a charter airline we took once to Vegas years ago. It's the only time I ever had the pleasure of experiencing an aborted takeoff from DFW while proceeding down the runway at full throttle.

Serious question, have you ever flown before?

I LUV Southwest but to suggest they have better planes or more luxury is hilarious. SWA only flies the 737 and also doesn’t offer first class or assigned seating. Again not knocking a company I really like

Anyone besides SVO ever fly Legend Airlines based out of Love Field? All seats were business class. Novel idea, but they didn't last long.

I flew on a similar short-lived airline named National Airlines to Las Vegas a few times, owned by Harrah's Casino. Very nice...
