yeah the shutdown area is kinda scarey. Granted my little 14 second coupe isn't all that fast, but from the finish line to end curve (at 100 mph) comes up real quick. I couldn't imagine having a 9-10 second car going 150+ mph and have to slowdown ...LOL

wanna cookie? I'd like to see your 60ft times @ Academy on bald tire's. obviously you can't read either...tire's were posted up top.
I'd like to see why your 1/4 mile trap speeds are the same as my 1/8mile.

I think if he takes these 2 runs and add in a 1.8x 60' time, he'd have low 14s...and high 13s on a better track. I'd say his car runs about what it should for that 60'.

Lol, wow I thought his was mid 80 mph..

                      When I had stock 2.73s I'd trap 80-81mph in the 1/8th.

I'd hope id pick up more then 10mph with an extra 1/8mile.

I'm not being an ass about it, just having fun.

Absolutely! I made the mistake of not dropping pressure for (1) and (2) I know the car could get better times. I spent so much time on the line spinning, that's what ate up my time. That and not cutting a good light. Which I'll only get better with practice. That 14.79 run obviously was the fastest, but I spun there too. Also I think bumping my timing would help a bit. I'm running a short belt now. Didn't ice the intake down. All the tricks that I've read about, I didn't do LOL....I plan on trying again here before to long. gotta learn from your mistakes. Which I thought I was doing a pretty good job of, going from a 17 second run to a 14.7. Thanks for the input guys. Appreciate it.

Cutting a good light has nothing to do with your e.t. The timer does not start until you move.
