  • My new 2018 F150

Bought a new 2018 F150 single cab short bed 5.0 with the 10 speed auto last month so far its been a fun truck. Since I bought it I've lowered it 2/4 and installed the S/E grill.

1 piece or multi piece drive shaft? If multi piece, what'd you use to align it? Shims?

Nice!! I debated waiting to order a 5.0 10 speed rcsb but ended up with a '17 2.7 ecoboost rcsb. Really surprised how much i like the ecoboost. Mine is at the dealer getting a vibration looked at right now.. Put some exhaust, tune and traction bars with a tire and they will run mid-low 12's easily!!

It's a one piece drive shaft. The kit did have a carrier bearing relocation kit that came with it if you did have a carrier bearing.

Thanks and yes I weighed shortly after I bought it and with a little over a 1/2 tank of gas it was 4220lbs.

I ran it out at Denton a few weeks after I bought just to get a baseline and it went 8.94@82.6 running into a 20mph headwind.

I used the Belltech drop struts in the front and the rear is the Mcgaughys 4in flip kit.
