Can anyone take a measurement from one of their AR15s for me? I need the length of the gun from the buttstock extended to the end of the recieiver.

He'd have been screwed if I was on my second cup of coffee and fully awake.

Scott that seems too short. is that from the rear of the butt plate with the stock extended to the end of the receiver (barrel matting surface)or d-ring?

You need to get on that man, you need to do it before you submit the form 1s.

I have always wanted to do an SBR build, but I cant find a decent engraver in Waco and I never have the time when I am in the metroplex

Ahhh, I thought you wanted to the back end of the receiver. It's 19" to the barrel end.

You can engrave once the stamp is approved and returned. I won't install the buttstock from the pistol buffer until the stamp is in and the engraving is done.

Use a multi-cal lower and build a pistol, submit the form 1, then convert to rifle when the stamp is in.

Thanks Scott. That should give me 32" overal lenth with the compensator installed. That sounds more like it.
