2018 was like 54.5 cents which is $218K. Assuming he doesn't get an automobile allowance from his job...that's still not bad. After gas and maintenance he may pocket 20-25% of that...but im curious to see his feedback on this.

No shit, if it takes you more than a couple of minutes to grab a floor jack, two pumps and a lug wrench to pull a tire off, well you don't need to be doing oil changes or any type of vehicle work/maintenance on your shit...

Except that the dealer will ad another hour of labor to your bill for that.

At 400k miles hes still coming out smelling like a rose.. let's say 60k truck, 400k miles @ 17.5mpg and gas at $2.10 is only another 48k. That leaves what, 110k ish for tires, oil changes, maintenance etc?

Just got back from Australia. Saw a bunch of new Rangers with most being powered by the 3.2 diesel. List price down under is 58K (Aus). Also saw a "Great Wall" Dealership. Yep, Chinese cars/trucks.
