I don't get shiny patina, doesnt that defeat the purpose?

We went from someone putting together a rustbucket out of a field and people thinking it was cool (it was) to a flood jackasses across the country painting something to make it look like you just pulled it out of a field.

A friend of mine had a 69 fastback that looked similar to that last one in the 90s. It had the fake mach 1 style hood scoop, though. I used to overlook it because it was a straight six with a 3spd. What I wouldn't give to have it now.
