My buddy that owns Pizza Inn Midlothian wasn't as lucky. The house he built last year sits basically where 77 meets 35 on the west side of the freeway and his home was destroyed and scattered for about a 1/4 mile from his property. Ironically his prized 2021 Mustang GT500 Shelby survived untouched in the garage other than getting rained on from the ceiling.

Insurance will cover most of the damage and the important thing is that nobody was injured. Could have been worse.

Leah's car got hit in the hail storm last week and is totaled. She was driving on 287 and got hammered. 5-6 went completely through the back glass, the windshield was destroyed and the rest of the car looked like a golf-ball.

Good news is she has already bought a new (to her) car!
