            • Rosberg's time yesterday was almost 3 seconds faster than last years pole time (though this was set on the soft tyre vs the medium). 208mph without the use of DRS on the straight.

                    • Wow, the more that comes out about Alonso, I'm hoping he is really alright.

If he really lost 20 years of his memory during that incident... is he okay to race? let alone, is his brain in a healthy state?

This renowned neurologist is one of the top experts in this part of Spain. They see all sorts of brain injuries, and they consider Alonso's belief he was twenty years in the past to be fairly normal. "An injury like [Alonso's] occurs because the brain suffers a shock (like an impact, not electrical shock) that has affected the neuronal synapses. When this occurs, the [synapses] don't function properly, so the brain will be searching for a memory and can't find it. Recovery time is a case-by-case thing. It's important to keep in mind that within the brain, the memory portion is most sensitive to these kinds of injuries," said [Dr. Rafael Blesa].

                              • F1 is becoming more of a joke...how many teams will collapse this year? I have to believe the prius engines were a large contributer. Actually the start of KERS all together.
