Demo work is the best. I don't know why, but I LOVE to throw shit away.

grinded down uneven concrete finally (fucking threw dust EVERYWHERE. Thought I was in a sandstorm) but living room has floor down. Just need to rip the last few planks near the bricks and trim out.

There's a vacuum adapter you can use for the dust. I just suck it up and try and kill myself in the dust storm. It's always nice finding dust everywhere for the next month.....

first time we have had a living space outside of one bedroom. Not 100% complete in here but getting there.

Master bath made some progress. Having the custom vanity mocked and built now. Got the vessel sinks all ready to go just need the vanity top done.

So house progress basically stopped the month before the wedding until about 3 weeks ago (just got busy with wedding/honeymoon/holidays/and a lazy period). We ramped back up 3 weekends ago and started in on the master suite.

From here when the house was bought (yes that junk was here):


To Yesterday (still have baseboard trim to do and a few touchup spots:

Ceilings and and those beams alone (Fuck those beams) were the most work. Slants from 10 feet up to 15 feet in the room.

With popcorn ceilings, brown beams, and old lights and fan:


Current (actually it's cleaned up some now on the edging to the beams/ceiling for the white to gray with detail work)
