Default Dove report

Anybody do any good today? I was out in Farmersville/Josephine area and it sucked. Never fired a shot.

Fairy Texas is the prime spot as it's right in the middle of their migration path. You'll have your limit before noon...

I went to Wichita Falls last year. You could limit out in less than an hour if youíre a good shot.

Sat on the couch with my month old son this year.

Hunted with my 11 year old son, just north of Cisco. Slow day, but he shot his first dove! He’s using an 870 20 gauge I got him for Christmas. Made the trip worth it.

Go eat German food at Zur Autobahn over by Lake Meridian State Park while you're down there.

Yes sir they worked great! I had a couple come hang with a few that I clipped on the fence. Nothing really at the ones I hung in the trees though.

Here is how I clean my dove. No bones or ribs to mess with just pull out the breasts meat.

Hunted this morning and it was much cooler. I limited out in an hour. Then it rained a little and they started flying around like crazy right after the rain let up

I was south of Abilene Saturday and Sunday. To say it was slow was an understatement.

Been thinking about guiding some trips out here. I have 50 acres full of sunflowers to the right of me, the Brazos river in front of me, and a barley, wheat, and Milo field to the left of me. There are always a ton of birds flying over.

We normally have a lease out there in Woodson. We didnít get on it this year because I wasnít sure when Iíd be moving and didnít want to spend the money and not go.

I've got a buddy that works for a resort out here that just leased a bunch of land out in woodson and asked me to guide out there. I don't know much about that area out there but everyone talks about it being some damn good dove hunting.
