I've been hunting public land with crossbow. One of these days I'm going to get a Mathews and learn how to get good enough to hunt with it.

I've been using Montec G5 and Rage so far. I've even gotten 2 deer with the el cheapo heads off ebay.



I am going elk hunting in Wyoming in October, but with a .300 Win Mag.

Before you buy a Mathews , look at their Mission line. I have been shooting the same Mathews for 15yrs and just ordered a Ballistic . Mission uses same technology with half the price tag .
