        • Simon Pegg in A Fantastic Fear of Everything. Watched it last night. Fucking greatness, especially when the Ice Cube starts playing. If you like Simon Pegg's other movies, you'll like this one. Trailer doesn't do it justice.

I'm told that was a childhood favorite of mine.

Oh yeah, watched that many times as a kid. AC/DC soundtrack and the coke machine shooting kids. My favorite parts.

                  • I watched all but two of the "Crimes of the Century" Series. It was pretty good. DC Sniper, Waco, Unabomber, OKC Bombing, Lennon's murder, and Reagan's assassination attempt. Brought back a lot of memories of living through that stuff, though I'm too young to remember Reagan and Lennon getting shot. Worth checking out if you're into history.

I've watched a couple of these, but haven't made it all the way through the series yet. I dig it, however.

                          • Chinatown starring Jack Nicholson and directed by Roman Polanski. 30's noir made in the early 70's. Great stuff. Jack gets attacked by a couple of guys, 1 with a crutch. After he gets back he screams "Get away from me! You come near me again and you're going to need a pair of those!!" Fucking awesome.

Been meaning to watch this forever and never got around to it.

                            • For those into documentaries: Megaquake: The Hour That Shook Japan about the 9.0 a couple of years ago is pretty insane. There are vids of skyscrapers swaying what looks to be 10-15 feet in each direction. I don't see how they didn't collapse.

Right now I'm checking out Secrets of the Dead: The Worlds Biggest Bomb, about the A-Bomb race, but mostly about Castle Bravo and Tsar Bomba. Good stuff.

That quake documentary was crazy, went ahead and watched it after you mentioned it. 14,000 people still missing. That's crazy. I assume they must have been washed out to sea.
