This. But mostly because when I worked in the tv repair shop, we would have 10-20 sets up and running to test the repair, the old techs would always have MASH running. Fucking annoying as shit. If there was any chance of me getting into the show, that killed it.
Sadly or not so sadly I'm so old I remember seeing the original MASH movie several times in a theater as a late show. I always thought the TV spinoff did a pretty good job of it.
