  • Nifty gun safe lighting set up

For those of you with a safe that wants some lighting, but don't want to mess with wires or cords, I picked this up at Walmart for $25. Its completely wireless, and secures to the inside very well with velcro.

It would be much better if you could tell us the brand or better a SKU number for this so we could find it without having to ask every clueless employee in the store how to locate this.

I hit up the Red Oak Walmart earlier looking for this and they either didn't have it OR nobody I asked could tell me where to find it. I'll look for it at other stores. By chance could you tell me exactly where in the store it was? (home lighting/hardware, flashlights, electronics, office supplies?

I have the LED lights that sit in cups in the top of the safe. They are motion sensitive and on a 30sec timer until they shut off. However, ever time I open the safe, they have fallen and I have to restick them.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

They were in the lighting area with all the bulbs and push lights.

Lots of complaints and negative comments about these lights on Amazon that has me wondering if maybe I should look for something else. Being wireless...the light units themselves have some kind of wireless sensor that must communicate with the switch unit...which must drain from the batteries. The biggest complaint is excessive battery consumption...even when not being used. AA batteries in quantities of 12 get expensive over time. They look like they light up quite nicely...but I'm afraid I would get really tired of replacing batteries frequently.

I think that would only apply to the remote, which has two watch battery's in it.
I like it so far, but I'll report back after a while about the battery's.

I plan on running rope light around the lip of the safe. Right now just using three tap lights....
