Guitar center used to have a pretty decent used selection online, rolling over lots of inventory weekly. I have a buddy who used to buy/sell guitars and was always on there.

Good luck man. The pauls are so overpriced these days its insane. Id be looking for a good used one. For a new one you're pretty much stuck to the larger retailers. Most smaller shops cant afford the retarded amount of stock that gibson forces its sellers to carry.

Fucking gorgeous guitar. I've never played a note in my life, but I absolutely love the '58-60 LP bursts - and a lot of the music played with them. Hard to justify $3.5k and up for a guitar I can't use.

My grandfather had a gold top '57 LP that burned in a house fire in '85 or so. He played it in bars all around north Texas for years. Dammit.
