Anyone have info that can help on a diminished value claim?

Everything I find shows a single accident causes roughly 10% DV and my insurance is only wanting to pay 5%. I need some information to fight with.

This sound like the shity contractor that did our house insurance claim work after the tornado. They are going after our house insurance a month later after we paid them to get more money because of material inflation. Suck my balls .....
