I like my GSG, and my 10/22. If I sold one it would be the GSG.

10/22 is a awesome gun to mod, but I've shot some pretty high end ones and my grouping is pretty close stock at 50 yards.

Did you ever start the Tac-Solutions barrel build?

I'm a fickle little vagina and ended up putting it towards a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 scope for my AR. But, I still intend on doing it in the next few months.

Here is my 10/22. Now, let me do some damage control here before we get more neckbearding. It's in a tapco intrafuse stock because a) I beat the shit out of this gun hunting b) it gets wet often, hence the stainless version. Now, I'm ashamed to show a .22 with a fore grip, but I have it because I needed a place to store extra CR2032 batteries for the red dot, and it makes firing at rabbits off an ATV roll cage a little bit more comfortable.

Mine is a later version with a plastic trigger group. Now, to answer some questions that need to be answered... it does suck. However, it in no way impedes the performation or reliability of the weapon. It works perfectly fine, and it doesn't chip. However, the only issue is you know it's plastic, and it doesn't look very good. And lastly I have an adjustment on my aftermarket trigger that takes up slack, but it dug into the plastic so it really didn't do shit. I do plan on replacing it with a volquartsen group within the next year though, so It didn't really bother me. And lastly, as for buying an old one with a metal group - It isn't a half bad idea, but personally a .22LR is the last gun I would buy used, seeing as most of them have tens of thousands of rounds through them.

Lol! I didn't mold that thing, dont take out your vertical fore-gripped resentment on me. That was completely a diss on tapco. I guess you dont have too many options on a polymer stock with rails for a 1022.

For anyone looking to purchase a 22, I can bring a few out to try if you want to buy the ammo.

My Dad has a Henry .22 Lever action. It will shoot 22 longs or 22 shorts.

A buddy of mine just picked up the 'golden boy' model with octagon barrel. It is is so smooth and a beautiful piece. Almost $400 is a little steep for me on a .22 though.

The octagon barrel would be beautiful, Dad did not get the octagon barrel though. I will look when I get home, if I remember, and see what model he got.

If I were to get an octagon barrelled rifle I would would go for a .44 or .357

That may be the best Tapco item I've ever seen.
