  • 68 F100 Build

    68 F100 Full Frame off restoration! Started with a bare rusty frame and stock front end.

    Stage 1:
    Stripped frame, Heidts Mustang 2 front end with power rack and pinion steering, tubular control arms, RideTech coilovers, Wilwood 4 piston front brakes. In the rear, RideTech 4 Link suspension, RideTech coilovers, rebuilt 9" with 3.73 gears, Moser forged custom axles and Wilwood 4 piston brakes.

                Stage 2 about to get started on the 68 F100 build. Just got the Coyote 5.0, Tremec TKO 5 Speed, and some other goodies from Ford Racing!!

                  That's the one, I love that car, I haven't seen Chris' GT replica yet, so the Chevelle is still my favorite in his collection.

                          Stage 2 started...

                          Motor and transmission set down on the frame. Stock oil pan does not clear the Heidts front end, had to switch to a Canton oil pan with a smooth bottom all the way to the sump.
