  • Headphone wiring

Anyone want to make a few bucks fixing my head phone wires? The wires were chewed in half by a dog... I figured I could just solder and shrink the wires but this is way more detailed than anything I'm comfortable handling.

These are Sennheier PC 350 headphones.

I don't know what that is. Some sort of cock holster?

          It's a crimping hammer.

Just replace the cable. It isn't that difficult if you know how to solder and can take your time. I'm sure there are resources on the net. Or send a message to their tech support for advice.

These wires are super small. I don't think a normal solder iron could do it.

That's what pencil tip soldering irons are for.

Get a decent soldering station with variable power and you'll be golden. I got mine from Amazon with free one day shipping for under $40. Chinese junk but it should last until I get tired of building guitars again.
