Its just a shame he even had too. Then again, they did quite a good job of it themselves. You really can't go on like that for very long before you just collapse.

Fast forward to Trump cozying up with DiFi's assault weapon ban, and even added the cherry on top with 'Take the gun first, go through due process second'. Before you go and call for Trump's impeachment, consider this...

      1. Gun Control is kryptonite at election time. Just ask Al Gore. Hell, even CNN figured this out...https://www.cnn.com/2012/07/20/polit...ics/index.html But you sure can't tell by watching DiFi gnawing at that bait...

      2. I've been with the NRA long enough to know Wayne LaPierre and Chris Cox would be in DEFCON 5 by now if they seriously think the Donald sold them out. Have you heard anything out of the NRA?

Take a deep breath and watch The Donald go to work prepping the Democrat for an ass-kicking in the mid-term election that they won't soon forget.
The NRA has sold gun owners out before, so them not yelling and screaming isn't necessarilly a good thing.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

Google searches for 'NRA membership' have risen roughly 4900 per cent since the week before the February 14 shooting, with new members flocking to support the gunowners' rights group.

Google searches for 'NRA membership' have risen roughly 4,900 per cent since the week before the February 14 shooting, with new members flocking to support the gun owners' rights group.

NRA President Wayne LaPierre announced last May that national membership had reached five million, but the group has not commented on the recent surge and didn't immediately reply to calls from DailyMail.com on Sunday.

I'm happy for the NRA support but join the GOA or JPFO.

Can't make a deal. He gets wall, eventually without an influx of family members and strong ties to the mexican hell hole, all the ones here americanize. And maybe then they're not quite such retarded peasants as all their parents. And then maybe they don't vote socialist.

"Oh yeah my grandparents were crazy lol. You should have heard some of the shit they said. I don't even speak spanish."

Its lose lose for dems. They give him what he wants, they win for now but it won't be long before they lose. They don't give him what he wants, he deports millions and finally builds it anyway, and they lose.

I haven't read "Art of the deal" but given Trump's background in commercial real estate where people ALWAYS hold their cards close to their chests because it is usually a game of "see how much money I can screw that guy out of"...I am pretty sure Trump knows how to get the opposing side to open up and tell him exactly what they want and use it to his full advantage. Pretty sure that is what he keeps doing and the Dems walk into it every time. He just acts like he is on their side, they get comfy and say pretty much everything that comes to their minds so he doesn't have to guess or pull it out of them. They offer it of their own free will. Then he just turns around does whatever the fuck he wanted to do in the first place knowing he got the best deal. True "Art of the deal" except he isn't giving them what they want to make it fair. This is more like the "art of negotiating".

Or it's just pure dumb luck?!

Except the restraining orders they are talking about are wide open for abuse. Mad girlfriend or wife makes call, your guns get taken away. Neighbor pissed about you parking in your driveway, calls to say they heard you say something about being suicidal and guns get taken. Police are mad because you filmed them or refused to consent to search, oh he is suicidal take his guns. Not that girlffriends and wives have ever lied and not that cops have ever abused their power. Plus guess how long it will take to get hose rights restored and your damaged property returned once you spend $30,000 or more in court proving someone filed false info on you. I don't trust any legislation giving the government and/or police more power.

Wasn't that all "walked back" once it was clear it was all a due process violation...just like the last 10 times it was proposed?

The money the Trump DOJ wants to spend, $13.2 million, would go to “address workload” and reduce the backlog of applications under the federal National Firearms Act.

It’s aimed at reducing the time it takes the ATF to approve the transfer and sale of devices regulated under the act, including machine guns, silencers, short-barreled shotguns, short-barreled rifles and other “destructive devices,” including bombs.

“ATF is overwhelmed with NFA paperwork,” according to Lawrence Keane, senior vice president of the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the leading gun industry trade group. “It has been a significant problem. It takes eight to nine months to process a single form,” Keane told ABC News.
