Well yeah, and this is a car movie based one one of the greatest stories in automotive history. Highly recommend the book Go Like Hell. It’s all about this story and one of the best books I’ve ever read.
Friday night I read this thread and ordered the book. It arrived Saturday afternoon and I couldn't put it down. Finished this afternoon. I normally don't care for movies but I'm ready to see this one. Makes me want to have a Cobra in the garage.

I've always wanted a GT-40 kit car. Those things are just to expensive for my broke ass.

            Great movie!

I was impressed with how they shaped the story (it’s really about Ken Miles), the acting is top notch and the racing action expertly done. Go see it.

Saw it late Friday night when I got back in town. Fucking loved it.
My wife, who planned ahead and bought the tickets for us, expected to be bored (10:30 pm showing in case she wanted to doze off ) actually loved it and even cried toward the end.

And like Blake said it's as much a Ken Miles story as anyyhing else.

We saw it this afternoon. The best movie I've seen in a long time. Now I want a Factory 5 Cobra replica dammit!

                          it was a good movie.

i wish they gave phil remington more value in the film. it was implied how important he was, but still understated.

Saw it over the weekend. I really liked it. They really paid some respect to Ken Miles by how they handled his passing. Micheal Bay would have done a slow-mo 10 angle shot with CGI topless aliens bouncing in the background. The directory was real classy on this topic.

Mandi said on the way to the IMAX opening night that she was going with me because she's drug me to movies that she wanted to see, so she would go with me to see this one. She loved it, and wants to go again while it's in the theaters.

They managed to capture a bit of what it's like to be in the car on track.
