Sex with an Asian woman is great, but 30 minutes later you're horny again.

      • Our little bitch, Abigail. We've had her a little more than a year now..

She likes going on car rides.

But hates it when one of the cats take 'her' spot (actually my spot).. So she takes 'their' spot in return..

              • Any aquarists on the board? No livestock in this one yet but it’s about ready.

                • I have one (55gl), shes on old D.A.S. unit, I've had everything in the Ocean I believe, I've had it almost 20 years. Now I only have one Domino damsel, he killed the other 4 fish, so now hes serving a life sentence in solitary confinement. Just him, some live rock and a couple of Mexican turbo snails.
I'm waiting for him to die so I can drain the tank, take out the live rock and remove the crushed coral. I want to add sand and turn it into an Anemone only tank and buy another one for livestock, maybe do a little bit bigger one.

I've kept these the last several years, they all get along and live peacefully, that is until I received a gifted pair of the a'fore mentioned Dominos.

Very cool! That’s some run time. Lots of choarline? This one is a 90 gallon Oceanic bowfront, great tank just clean as hell ftm.

Lmao @ life sentence in solitary. I know the feeling, at one time I had the meanest blue damselfish that seemed to kill everybody in the tank. It was fun trying to find his match! He died alone lol

Royal Gramma is top of the list, great fish. This one will be mixed reef and plenty of residents.

                    • This is Walter. He is a pure bred Ragdoll cat. He was 3lbs when we got him in March. He is now 13 lbs and will continue to grow for 2 more years and should hit about 24-28lbs. That last picture is next to his (large for a girl) 10lb 7 year old sister.

                      • Well, after almost 17 years, little Peanut has passed away.
She was the leader of the pack here, even against the much larger dogs!

RIP little Peanut, we'll miss you.

Had to make that gut wrenching decision to say goodbye to my beloved Sammy at way to young of an age (8yrs) . She woke me up early one morning this July having a convulsion, vet couldn't get it stopped... 30 hours later I decided it best to end her nightmare. This was taken about a week prior. RIP my sweet girl.

                                Man, I'm hurting for you.

I had to say bye to my best friend on Saturday. It didn't help that the same day, one year ago, we lost my wife's grandma in a similar, very quick, "holy shit, everything was fine last week" sort of way.

Watson started limping just the slightest amount about a week and a half ago, then I had to head over to Finland for a while. While I was there he tripped over something and the limp got worse, so my wife took him to the vet. Round 1 xrays showed a little shadow on his LR femur head. Vet assumed the worst, but sent the xrays to the radiologist... who said the same. My time difference was 8 hours, so I was getting up early, she was staying up late, etc, just so I could be in the loop as this was going on. The next day she took Watson to a specialist who did more specific xrays.

10pm for me was 2pm for her that day. We got on a video call as the specialist walked in the room to give her the results. They saw severe bone cancer in Watson's LR leg. Even looking at a phone screen, which was taking a video of a computer screen on the other side of the world, I could see it, and my heart broke. Then they said they also saw signs of it in one of his front shoulders... and knowing how oseteosarcoma works in dogs it was guaranteed at that point that it had metastasized to his lungs also.

When I left the country I thought he'd tweaked a muscle being a big goofball, as usual - by the time I was back in the US a week later I was making arrangements to let him go.

By the time I made it home he was obviously in pain. He would try to sprint, but pull up and just trot. He would stand too long and then his LR leg would start to shake. He wold try to bend over to sniff something and his front leg would shake. Just living a normal life was taking a lot of effort, but he never complained or whined - but we knew.

We took him out to my in-laws' land this weekend to say goodbye, just a few days after the last specialist told us we didn't really have a choice on this one. The initial consults ha recommendations of LR amputation and chemo, but he was a big, active, squirrel chasing, woods exploring, dude, and even then that might only buy us 6-12 months... and after they found it in a front shoulder also they basically said "This is it. Within a couple weeks he's going to be a shell of himself."

He lived like a king every day of his life, but this last weekend he lived like some sort of uber-king. I slept with him on the living room floor his last night, both of us on his dog bed, in front of the Christmas tree. My FIL used his backhoe to dig a legit 6' deep grave (which I filled back in by myself one shovel-full at a time) in a spot surrounded by three giant pine trees, and then he made a mold and poured the cement for us to make a marker - it has his pawprints in it. Watson and I split a ribeye and a St Arnold Christmas Ale for lunch and then napped on the floor together until the vet arrived.

He was only 6 - we thought we had years left with him, but apparently there were other plans. I know exactly how you feel having to say goodbye when they seem so young. Shit sucks. Over the weekend we learned that Watson's dad, Duke, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma three years after Watson was born and had to be put down... and two of Watson's siblings have gone through the same over the past year. Fucking genetics.

I'm sure anyone who I'm connected with on FB or instagram is tired of seeing pics, but I promise this will be the last photo post for a long time

And not that anyone really cares, but he had his own instagram page:
Welcome back to Instagram. Sign in to check out what your friends, family & interests have been capturing & sharing around the world.

This picture was on Thanksgiving this year. Looking back now we know he was was sick beyond help when I took this and the cancer was already eating his bones - we just had no way of knowing.

This was his last weekend with us
