I have the series on DVD and am watching it for the second time while reading the book. I'm hoping I can get through the second book by the time season two gets here.

From what I've "read" and by read I mean heard on the audiobook for "A Clash of Kings", his character should be even better in season 2.

I'm halfway through the first book and it's pretty amazing how closely the show follows it. I've only found 2 or 3 minor things that are different.

I'll hold off to read the second book until after season 2 though. It's fun to get the finer details out of the book, but I like not knowing what's going to happen as I watch the show.

It really pisses me off they wait so damn long between seasons! By the time the new stuff comes out you forgot half the damn details of the last. But it is a badass show for sure. The blonde dragon chick is pretty damn hot, even if she's a fake blonde.

I just watched all of season one yesterday, and I can't believe I waited that long.

I tried to watch it while the season was going earlier this year, but I couldn't get into it. Now I'm hooked and can't wait for next season.

While little finger is a weasel, he's one of my favorite characters. Runs a whorehouse, only out for his best interest, and always stirring the pot.

Tyrian is my next favorite, but I can see him getting self righteous in the next season as the hand. But I haven't read the books, so who knows.

Everyone at the king's court is a backstabbing sack of crap with their own hidden agenda. Did you notice who Varys is talking to under the castle when Arya sees him? That should give you a hint of what he is up to.
