                7 is fine with me. My manager though he gave me a copy I could use but he doesn't have the product key or code, which ever one it asks for in the beginning

                  The product key SHOULD be stuck on the Laptop somewhere. Generally under it or on the battery.

                      I remember resting my palms on a Latitude D series while i was working remotely. Stupidly, i pressed down when standing up, and my palms pressed into the plastic and the hard drive beneath. Screeeeeeech. Bluescreen.

                      Well shit.

                      You can probably find an ISO of the install disc out on the web. Just make sure its for your licensed version and flavor.. The license is probably behind the battery as was mentioned or on the bottom.
