  • How old is this Delco Battery?

Code is P031P. Looks to me like it was made in march of 2011. Vehicle is an 07. Anybody know for sure how to tell? It runs down easily but starts the truck if it's driven daily. Thinking about replacing it

You're thinking about changing an at best 10 year and at worst 16 years old car battery?

Lol if it ain't broke don't fix it!! Having problems with tpms thinking low battery. If it was made in 2011 it should be P0311P. Just trying to figure out how old it was. Not sure how a 2001 battery gets put into an 07 truck. Must have been way up on the shelf

There is such a thing as preventive maintenance. It sounds like you're flipping a coin on whether or not your car is going to leave you stranded somewhere, or late for work.

Got a new Interstate today. Voltmeter stays above 14 now. Was also having a problem with memory mirrors etc they now work also. Gotta figure out the tpms issue now. Couldnt get the sensors to communicate.thinking maybe I need to be more patient and wait 30 sec before adjusting psi again.
