Default FMX to t5? Who's done it?

So my FMX is leaking from everywhere. I bought all the seals and gaskets already but I'm leaning on going t-5. Its for a 1970 Mach 1. Has anyone done it? Should I just keep the FMX? Is it more trouble than it's worth?

Do a T5/3550 swap with a hydraulic clutch. If you want to stay auto go 4r70w, either of these swaps are super easy in that car.
