Bayou Jacks has slipped ---- a lot. I hate to say it, as it is my go-to close fix.

Someplace where you don't have to peel em. I like them but I just want to eat em, don't want to have to do a small amount of work before I eat them. Where is the best place for that

I does, I know Jack well. We ride together. I do go to his other place in Roanoke, "Jack and Grill" Good beer selection and wings. I hope he fixes it because Pappadeaux's or "Aw'Shucks" is a drive.

Yes, he says he is working on it. He managed "Rockfish" for a long time, he knows good seafood. Example.... Bayou Jack's crawfish Etouffee was brown gravy with crawfish tails in it over rice. Just nasty.

Had some raw oysters in December and the shucker was washing the oysters under the water facet before serving them.....took all the flavor out of them. #learntoopenoysters.
The boiled crawfish had so much shit sprinkled on top that it made them inedible. I sent them back to rinse all that crap off. Manager came over and said that is the way they are served in Louisiana.
WRONG---- no respectable coonass will put that dry shit on top of boiled crawfish.

                    The boiling pots

                    Razoos is surprisingly good.

                    Dodies can be good.

Nates is close to the office and it really doesn't impress me. Sadly I haven't had good cajun since Rex closed his business in DFW. You gotta go to Nawlins, but it's worth it.

I've never ate at Razoos and was happy with my choice.

The Dodies in Coppell is fucking terrible.

The Razoo's in downtown FTW was never very good in my opinion.

Tried a new(to me) crawfish place this weekend, I have to say it was very good! They don't put all that shit on the outside of the bugs like most Texas places do. Spicy and hot, full and just on the medium to small scale. It is the beginning of the season and will get bigger.
