Make him pay for it. I wanted Mustang GT's and Z28's when I was that age. I was paying 250 a month in 1998-2000 I think it dropped some at 18, 21, and 25 years of age for sports cars.

Have your DL's going to a separate address from you kids. Buy them a hoopty and get them a non owner policy on it with the address on their DL. This will pretty much drop the rates and they can still be covered on your cars without adding them by name to your policy.
