That ain't bad at all. You did good on that.

Wow! That concrete price is killer. I think I was quoted $6000 on just a 12x48 area slab.

That was my thinking, I gave up some wall space, but itís ok. I plan on doing a covered patio type hang out on the yard side, so I wanted a large party door I could open up, instead of just the walk through.

Wall space is overrated anyway. All it does is give you a spot to pile up crap and you end up losing the floor space.

That and I don’t plan on keeping random junk in there. I still have the 12x16 shed out back for mower and lawn crap. This will just be car stuff and my office. There is also a good amount of storage on top of the office, and will be hidden by my parapet wall.

That's pretty reasonable. My 30x40x14 with a 12x40 awning was 23k, I had them do a patio cover and extend my driveway to it, total was 26k. 6" and 8" slab for the shop.

I don't think I'd ever go in the house if I had something like that.

send me the contact info for who did your shop. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on one out here, and I think 30x40x14 is what I want to go with too.

I think thatíll be a great size. I wanted to go bigger but also didnít want to just totally engulf my property with a metal building. I used Winslowís, they have several locations around the metroplex.

That's rad! The only thing I'd change would be the height (I need minimum 10' doors to get the race car in) and enough pad to turn a car around while driving it.
