An actual doctor versus a hearsay wanna-be expert…wonder who I should consider to be correct, lol.

That's the AMAs opinion, not mine. I'm just repeating what they've written. We're also talking actual MD's who are specialists and not nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, or general practitioners. The most gifted neurologist I've ever met who is beyond a genius, looks like a supermodel, and has a hard time with the English language went to medical school in the Ukraine and it took her three years to get her license here in Texas. The neighborhood I'm sitting in right now as I'm writing this is full end to end with surgeons who are all Indian. One of my clients sons who is a close personal friend is a neurosurgeon who is finishing his residency and his opinion is that the doctor's he has worked with who are foreign born and educated are more skilled and more knowledgeable than the American doctors he's worked with. Granted, his opinion is anecdotal just like yours but he really likes the Indian surgeons that he works with.

The foreigner MDs at teaching hospitals tend to be very smart. The ones I’ve seen in the community at various smaller hospitals are quite shitty doctors.

I pointed out that I was bring up anecdotal evidence. My opinion is based on what I've read. My opinion was just backed-up by anecdotal evidence that comes from people that I know and respect that work in the field and my personal observation. I think we're both saying the same thing but you work with doctors on a daily basis that are GPs and the only ones that I have interaction with are typically specialists. In other words you see a whole hell of a lot of the Quacks and I see a bunch of geniuses.

You can fool a lot of these guys on here with your general knowledge of many things, but you will not fool me when it comes to medicine. I was only guessing at what you do on a daily basis. I rarely see doctors in their professional capacity but a dozen or so of them see me in my professional capacity weekly.

I firmly believe what I said and you will never convince me otherwise. I don't trust black doctors or female doctors that were educated in the United States because politics have infiltrated medical schools. Those politics haven't penetrated medical schools in India to the degree that they have here. The same can be said for lots of medical schools in lots of countries that haven't bowed down and Kissed the Ring of political correctness yet.

i'm blessed that i have had the same doc for 35 years . i cant imagine going in cold when it comes to my health .

I have been a patient of my PCP for the last 25-26 years, an excellent provider and referrals have all been equally top notch in my experience.

I think I have a pretty good grasp on the medical profession and your view is not accurate. There are idiots in every profession, mine included, but FMGs are not better trained or more rigorously vetted than US trained physicians…assuming they went to a normal allopathic med school and trained in a tertiary care hospital training program.
