    Ribs- awesome
Jalepeno cheddar sausage- didn't care for it- texture was strange
Marbled brisket- best brisket I have ever had
    Lean Brisket- also excellent
    Fried okra- nothing special
    Mashed potatoes- very good
    green beans- excellent
    Broccoli salad- excellent

I went with my sister and my kid, sister had the chopped beef sandwich and I did the all you can eat. Tried some of everything I could until I got full. Might go back for lunch tomorrow with the wife.

hmmmm, now I've got to go try it for sure. Have you been to Pecan lodge and how does it compare to their brisket (or any other place you might have been to)?

Pics of the wife so I know who not to hit on at lunch tomorrow?

I have not been to Pecan Lodge, but I try a lot of different BBQ. The main difference is that they cut it thick and the bark is not really crunchy but is a slightly different texture and has amazing flavor. She's just your average hot redhead...

It was a lot better. Last time I went was a few years ago. No good bark, dry, and had to use some sauce. This time I was impressed. Good cuts and good bark. Not dry at all. Decent smoke ring. Ate it without sauce. Will be going again. My date was too cheap to buy me lunch. Didn't even pick me up. LOL

Hmm. I'll have to try it out then. It's only a few miles from the house.

When my dates suck that's generally not a bad thing. Sounds like your date was one sided.

For folks who haven't been to the one in McKinney in the last couple years, it is not the same food as before. It used to be mediocre at best.

Their pit caught fire and burnt the place in June 2012. Ever since they rebuilt and reopened, it has been great bbq. You can even do all you can eat for $16.95.

When I went to the one in Frisco it was better than anything I have ever had at fat cow. I used to eat at fat cow frequently too.
