    My first gun back in the mid '80s was a Remington Nylon 66 .22lr. I still have it and it is never leaving my family.

          so i decided on the rossi .22/.410 combo so we could shoot clays. Hope she like s it.

                        Pitty you can't find one of the older Stevens 22/410 over and under single shots. Nice little gun that will be like driving a 65 Mustang. The price will do nothing but go up.

                          Not that it matters a lot but a .410 can be a bit discouraging for a new shooter as it is more difficult to hit targets or bring birds down with. Also they aren't very cheap to shoot.

                            I agree. But she is only twelve and very petite. She wants a shotgun really bad. She wants to shoot with me and my dad. I'm hoping this will hold her over till a .20 or .12 won't knock her to ground and it wasn't that exspensive.
