I won't be surprised if it goes to a dealer. The vehicle market is insane. I've got a bud looking for a truck for his 17yo. It's nuts what you get at $10k these days

One of these days I will find a 1st-gen Ranger RCSB for a 302 & 5 speed swap. Hopefully they're not fetching $10k too.

Yep. Someone like that dealer up in Sherman will pay $20, flip it for $25-27k

Who are they flipping them to? Are there just a bunch of good ol boys with no nets up there?

Trucks are nuts right now. My KKB offer for a trade in on a 2016 F250 is 2k over what I paid for it brand new..

My nephew is a salesman at a Ford dealership. My dad works there delivering cars to make a little spending money in his retirement. My dad has bought more new cars or trucks in the last 5-6 years than he did his whole life before that.

The nephew recently told my dad to come trade in his 18 month old F150 Limited because the dealership will give him right at what he paid for it. They're desperate for nice vehicles to put on the lot.

They’ve got a big following on Facebook, so I presume a lot of them are internet sales.

Its too bad new truck prices are so damn high. KBB has mine high enough to wash out the negative equity from when I traded my civic in

We’ll see how it plays out.
If it pans out I'll call you lucky as hell. I tried 3 times on 3 different vehicles and they all welched. Ebay still made me pay as though it had sold. Iirc it was roughly $80 each time. Can't remember the exact amount though.

Never heard from the winning bidder. I guess eBay is just full of fuckheads nowadays. Haven’t tried to sell a car on there since 2016, learned my lesson. Guess I’ll list it somewhere else, my nephew mentioned bringatrailer.com.

So this guy fucks up my auction and now I have his:

                        Name
                        Home address
                        Phone number
                        Employer info
                        Facebook

Is this a challenge? I mean, is it wise to be such a shithead when all your info is readily available? Peoples actions should have consequences, that’s all I’m sayin.

I havent used Ebay since the early 2000's when Ebay and Paypal fucked me out of $400.

Looking at the bid history of your truck reads weird. The winning bid was placed 10 days before the last bid you had?

Exactly. I brought this to their security teams’ attention twice. The bidding was very strange. He set up an auto bid in the first hour. Then one or two bidders racked the price up. I don’t get it.

I’ve sent him at least four emails, eBay messages and have had no response.

I think I would try cars and bids or bring a trailer. I've been thinking about tossing my Jeep LJ on cars and bids to see what happens.

It’s like he planned in the first hour to sabotage my auction by outbidding everyone automatically and then crawling in a hole
