    Failure To Fire - a webcomic about American gun culture

    A couple of friends of mine are long time web cartoonists and have just started a new comic entitled Failure To Fire. Some of you guys might enjoy it, so I thought I'd share.

      I thought there was a bit of resonance with the board. I'm liking the direction it's going so far. The characters are supposedly an amalgamated caricature of real people from the area, too.

                      Ah, well Uncle Omar definitely reminded me of some of the stuff I've read on here.


                      I haven't talked to them about it but, from what I remember reading, someone on 4chan got a hold of the first 5 weeks of comics and was posting them up and impersonating J. Grant - one of the authors. With the impersonator being a huge dick and all the fallout, I guess it had the potential to turn into a shitstorm; Grant had to send a DMCA notice to 4chan, and they removed his work and deleted everything. Rough start, but perhaps the publicity was good?

                      I'm not sure DFWM is even on Grant's radar.
