    Get a Colt.

I like the Colts, but I'll stick my Wilson Combat. While I'm not a pistol smith, I do know that my Kimber is solid and trustworthy. You can get a lemon from ANY manufactured product, and you'll hear more about those compared to the other thousands of trouble free models.

How so? We're only talking a few thousand dollars.

No, you are talking about a gun that cost 3-4 times as much. I paid $799 for my Colt new, and an entry level Wilson will run you at least 3 times that. Were talking about entry level 1911s here, not high end customs/semi customs.

Both Kimber and Colt are great guns. As with any comparison between a colt and any other gun though..one is a colt, the other isn't.

Ended up with an Ultra Carry II crimson trace.

              Used in great shape.
              Came with the Box
Couple different Pistol and Mag Holsters
4 extra mags and the orig one.
              Mag storage Bag.
              Box of Defense Ammo

Got a great deal on it. Very happy

My Glock's got the laser on it, and I paid new for my Kimber, sounds like you made out like a bandit.
