  • Should I plastidip or wrap the Jag?

So I'm over this thing being white and I want something more of a blue or BRG, but I'm still open minded on it. So I'm wondering whether plastidip or a wrap would be the better path to go. I've got no free time to DIY it so I'd have it done professonally. So I've bascially got a few questions on each.

Which is more durable? survive road debris or the car wash.
Which is easier to remove in the future?
Which is the more affordable option?

Just curious what the DFWM peanut gallery has to say.

            There ya go!

Wrap seems to be much more durable, and easier to remove, but generally cost a little more. Worth it, IMO.

Wrap has more color options, matte, gloss, semi gloss. Will last awhile, more money though and they have to remove it, so more money at the back end too.

I believe you posted you paid over $450K for your home, those cheap ass builders couldn't finish out the garage???

Wrap. Looks better and will protect the paint.

Can easily be self removed from what I have seen

Yea, even at that price you're looking at just above a starter home in the Denver area. Hella expensive.

On the plus side, my realtor thinks I could easily sell for over $500K if I wanted to.

For that, a wrap. For a clapped out SN95 mustang? Plastidip.

Really seems to be the way to go in Colorado. My neighbor's car is ceramic coated and looks EXCELLENT.

There's a lot of differences in types of plastidip... check out Autoflex. Can get full gloss like a nice paint job, can be wetsanded, waxed, etc just like normal paint but you can also peel later. Needs to be professionally applied for best results.
