  • Adjustable Shocks for a Kia

Cant seem to find any adjustable shocks for a kia. My question. Can you just find a similar shock and make it work? Like length wise and stuff?? JW.

    Thanks

Cousin just wants to have the ability to soften of stiffen it. Doesn't wanna pay for coilovers.

        2nd question. It's a Kia. Not really a question, I suppose.

Sounds like a complete waste of money, talk some sense into your cousin.

LMMFAO! Sorry man. I've got nothing for you, aside from telling you that if it'll bolt up and not bottom/top out, go for it. Personally, I'd get with the manufacturer, but lookout for CHOO CHOO!

I'd have to see, but as an example: my Festiva shares almos identical characteristics with Mk 3 Volkswagen Jettas and I have a set of slightly modified Raceland coilovers on it. I also bastardized a set of WRX strut mounts that utilize fully adjustable plates and pillow balls.

I mention it because festivas and Kias are the same damn car, and all of my brakes and the spindles/hubs are from a Kia Rio. Stuff swaps around.

                    Rear Mk3 coilovers mounted:

Fronts from inside the wheel well:

WRX plates with the pillow ball:
