Steel 9mm cases

I got given a couple of boxes of steel cased 9mm pistol ammo. I questioned why the guy gave them to me and he said he doesn't have a 9 anymore. He does have a 40 and 45.
Do I watch for anything "special" about the steel cases. Shot a bunch in the SKS but never in the pistols.

I bought a bunch of Tula steel cased. I never had any issues in my pistols or carbines.

Steel cased Tula 9mm worked great in my KelTec PF9 and my Norinco.
