    • As for Sansa's part on the show, she wasn't raped. She has been told repeatedly by Littlefinger that she is playing the Game and she has agreed to willingly participate. Her marriage to Ramsay was part of her playing the game, she even told that to Littlefinger. And it isn't like you are going to get married in this world and not get banged.

If she wanted to bail out of this situation she could have easily have gone with Brienne and Podrick when they met at the inn on the road. She also covered for Littlefinger's murder of her aunt when they were still at the Eyrie, she could have easily have just told the truth and Littlefinger would have been thrown out the Moon Door and the charade would have been over right there.

In the books Sansa is portrayed as a bit more of a dumbass than a victim. One of the main themes of the books is that almost no one is purely good and almost no one is purely evil. Likewise, the books also try to portray the fact that some of these people make the wrong decisions. Examples: Rob Stark is a fucking idiot when it comes to politics. Sansa is naïve. Jaime Lannister is the classic bad guy trying to turn everything around. Etc, etc.

I think you're seeing a little bit of feminist politics in there. Making a main female character out to be a dumbass would enrage liberal women.

Just look at the sansa scene, getting banged by her husband. Women are shitting bricks on twitter, boycotting the show.

I find it amusing that the show is a very dumbed down version of the books and people still can't seem to figure out the motives of the characters. Just illustrates how dumb some people are.

          • All of this "outrage" regarding the scene with Sansa is utterly ridiculous. Of all the shocking scenes on this show, they draw the line at a so-called "rape" scene that mostly happened off camera. I'm pretty sure this same brand of critics took no issue when Ramsay tortured and castrated Theon. Or pretty much anything that transpired at the Red Wedding. What an odd thing to be offended by when you choose to watch a TV-MA rated show in this genre.

                • BS controversy over a damn TV show notwithstanding, this week's episode had to be the best so far this season. Great flow through the different story lines and it makes me so damn happy to see Cersei get what's coming to her.

I really didn't think there would be a bigger prick than Joffrey, but Ramsey is a royal dick. Wow.

He's worse than a big-ego entitlement kid. He's a certified sociopath with with a sadistic streak a mile wide. Joffrey just told people to do horrible things (for the most part). Ramsey enjoys being a hands-on murderous torture porn whacko.

                      • I thought Ramsey he had his coming when Theon's sister acted like a badass and came to get him... but instead left with her tail between her legs.

                        • I feel Ramsey will get his pretty soon. I know this show normally lets the bad guys get away with everything with no consequences, but he has crossed the line in a lot of ways. I foresee his head chopped off.
