    Leak down tester- rent, borrow, or buy cheap?

    I need to do a leak down test.
    Autozone and Orielys don't rent it. Harbor Freight sells one but it has bad reviews. I don't want to spend $100 plus on a tool I may never use again.

    Any suggestion of where to borrow, rent, or buy it cheap?

                We've had it done twice (once on a jaguar s-type, the other time on a buddy's f150 v6)

                They didn't charge us for it, but I know the owner fairly well, so that may be why.

                *edit: no, it wasn't a battery test.

                    I'm looking to fix this on the cheap if I can. Anybody have a set of stock Forged stock pistons they want to sell?
