    Start -> run -> cmd
    Then type ipconfig and press enter

                        Make sure you look at the IP for the specific device you're connected with, otherwise it means nothing.

                        IE if you use a wireless connection, then make sure the IP you retrieve is for the wireless adapter and not the wired NIC.
