Xbox 360 Silm - Open Tray Error

Does anyone have any experience with this? I've tried tapping, slamming and all that with no success. I opened my box, cleaned it and moved the laser back to the center and still nothing. If anyone has any experience with this any advice is appreciated.

I think the only fix at the moment is to sell the Xbox and buy a PS3.
