Coating? Forget that, imported Italian tile for the workshop!
Btw, that building is awesome. If you dont mind me asking what does something like that cost? Slab plus building? PM me if you dont want it public and I totally understand if you'd rather not say.

That turned out nice. If you don't mind saying, about how much did the cost turn out to be?

Naw i don’t care, since it’s the pre engineered bolt together it’s a lot cheaper. Mine was right around $9k, but that was with 4 roll up doors. My neighbor did a 24x25x10 and his was around 65-7000. I must say I’m glad I went with the 12’ side instead of the 10’. Made a huge difference! My concrete guy I work with at the firestation so I had a buddy deal on that. I paid $8900 for the driveway, shop slab, apron, and sidewalk.

Plenty of airflow with all those doors.

that's a smoking deal. When I buy a house I'm going to need a shop like this. Heck my dream is to do a large building with a house in the corner built inside. but that's a bit past my income level and ability.

Wow! That concrete price is killer. I think I was quoted $6000 on just a 12x48 area slab.

That was my thinking, I gave up some wall space, but it’s ok. I plan on doing a covered patio type hang out on the yard side, so I wanted a large party door I could open up, instead of just the walk through.

Wall space is overrated anyway. All it does is give you a spot to pile up crap and you end up losing the floor space.

That and I don’t plan on keeping random junk in there. I still have the 12x16 shed out back for mower and lawn crap. This will just be car stuff and my office. There is also a good amount of storage on top of the office, and will be hidden by my parapet wall.

That's pretty reasonable. My 30x40x14 with a 12x40 awning was 23k, I had them do a patio cover and extend my driveway to it, total was 26k. 6" and 8" slab for the shop.

I don't think I'd ever go in the house if I had something like that.
