      my 408 WITH blower got 18 mpg, and that was AFTER I broke almost every piston in it with the stock ECU and funked up timing/fuel maps... I bet it could average 22-25 mpg on the highway in a SN with higher compression not turning a beastly blower...

        • Picked up the short block on Friday, assembly and install probably next weekend

          Manley/SHM pistons, Manley/SHM connecting rods, Kellogg 8 bolt stroker crank, balanced and assembled by Morgan & Son









          I'm getting excited to have a normal running engine again. I pulled the other head from my bad motor and it was bad, but nearly as bad as the passenger side. Just one piston with broken ring lands, the other 3 were decent looking.
