Possible school security solution?

A friend of mine that is a teacher in frisco posted a link that their schools are going to start giving officers free lunch at the schools. It's a good start I think to having a little more security on campus.

But it got me to thinking and I came up with this.

School district employees take a small pay cut to go toward paying to have severity on campus. I asked a few teacher friends I have and they said they would happily take a $1000 a year pay cut. I know there are some employees that don't make as much so a percentage is probably a more fair way to do it.

What do you guys think? I know we have a few teachers on here, I'd like to hear your opinions.

We had 1 at my HS. He weighed well over 300lbs and wheezed when he walked more than 25 feet. Hardly any real solution.

Schools already have school resource officers. My son's school (jr high) has two.

My sons elementary have 1 split between a couple of schools, I would be in favor.

90%+ of districts haven't served anything fried since 2008. If your district seves fried food, state and federal funding is pulled. That pizza hasn't been around since 2006 or so. You'd be surprised in how far school food has come from what it was. It's still cheap commodity stuff, but there's not a whole lot you can do with $2.15.

They aren't all like that. Between the schools I went to, and now my kid's, none of them were overweight.
